The journey behind the name.
Esha Singh found her sport early. At thirteen she became India's youngest national champion in 10m air pistol; at seventeen she lifted the 25m junior world title in Cairo. By the 2022 Asian Games she had four senior medals — including a team gold and an individual silver in the 25m event. Trained at Gagan Narang's Gun for Glory academy in Pune after starting at Hyderabad's Gachibowli range, she was conferred with the Arjuna Award in 2023 and represented India at the Paris 2024 Olympics. In 2025 she stepped onto the senior World Championship podium for the first time, winning bronze in 25m pistol at Cairo with a final score of 30 out of 45 — a ranging shot that confirmed she belongs in the senior elite.
